Hi, I have the next problem, here is my website -> http://n2panama.com/comer/ wich is under contruction. I want to show all the portofio items wich match with the categories when I clic on the sortable link. I mean now I just can see the items displayed on the home page.

I am sorry, I probably didn't understand your question but your portfolio is sorting now just fine, is the problem that the results shows are not for the correct category? So if you click 'Zona Belle VIsta' only one item is left after sorting - 'Cabanga'. This is not correct?

Hi,
Images are not the problem. I'm gonna give you an example.
If I choose on my template builder show 25 restaurants on the home page when I clic on the category Zona Bella Vista the website shows me all restaurants with category Zona Bella Vista within the 25 restaurants displayed on the home page. What I want is the website shows all restaurant with category Zona Bella Vista.

I understood the requirements. What I am saying is that if jQuery which controls the portfolio sorting is throwing 25 errors, its best to fix them first since we are trying to find out why the same program that is throwing the errors is not functioning correctly.
I have a suspicion though, that because there is pagination, the remaining 23 restaurants are on pages 2 and 3. I will take a closer look right now.

I took a look and everything is working correctly. What is happening is that you have a total of X number of restaurants, with Y number of restaurants being shown per page for a total of Z number of pages. The sorting works on a per-page basis. What that means is that whatever the Y number is (20 per page let's say) , only those 20 restaurants will be sorted , and you would need to go to page 2, 3 and the rest of the Z number, and filter on each one as was done on the initial page.
From my understanding, you are expecting the following:
1)You want to be able to have X (500) restaurants, but on the first page show a random mix of Y (20) restaurants from the 500 total.
2)The user clicks the filter and based on the filter chosen, all matching restaurants out of the X (500) total are displayed with 20 on the first page, for as many pages as there are restaurants in the selected category (with 20 shown on each page).
3) When the 'Next button' in pagination is pressed, an additional 20 results are shown from only the filtered category selected on the first page
The theme (at the moment) sorts only the portfolio items which are present on the page. A solution that may work for you, would be to increase the total number of items being shown on the first page, or to install an 'endless pagination' plugin for jQuery.
Such custom modifications are outside the scope of the support team and would require the services of a freelance developer.

You can see the Avia AJAX sorting in js/avia.js lines 646- 771 as well is in includes>loop-portfolio.php and then the various calls to the actual framework functions within that file.
The issue, and this has been asked about quite a bit, is that the sorting function can't load in additional portfolio items dynamically. It can only sort what is shown on the page. To change that would cause a significant hit to performance and is why Kriesi has not re-written any of the themes that use this effect to do so.
