I want to put special character ‘å’,’ä’ and ‘ö’ in the permalink and url. 'å'='%C3%A5'

The url looks like it should put the page could not be found. Can you please help me to solve this

I wouldn't use special characters in a permalink. Nobody cares if ä or a is used in an url.

Google cares very much thats why I feel it's important.

Can you point me to some resources about this topic? I can't imagine that google prefers special characters in urls - I've only found one discussion which comes to the conclusion that it's a good idea: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Webmasters/thread?tid=027557ee122ec2b1&hl=en

If the keyword is in the url you will be higher up in google when searching on that keyword.

I don't have any resources to point you to at the moment.

Anyway is there something I can do to make it work and not coming to "Page not found"
