If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I’m using the One Page Portfolio but I need the front page to be a static (non-scrolling) page. How can I do this?
I’ve tried changing the Reading settings and selecting my Home page as the Front Page but this stops the whole site from scrolling.
I also tried adding a Page Section link to my home page but this causes a bug with the navigation and the wrong link gets highlighted when you scroll.
I’m not sure that is something we can help create. The one page portfolio option does a complete re-write of the way the page works and counts on being the index of the site.
I’ll leave the post open in case any of the other support crew has an Idea about this :)
Thanks for the explanation Devin. I’m guessing it’s the code below that does the re-write (in helper-templates.php):
global $avia_config, $post;
//check if we want to use the them as one page portfolio
$avia_config['preseleted_template'] = COALITION_OPP;
get_template_part( 'template', 'dynamic');
I have created a dynamic page template for the home page so if anyone can figure out how to set this as the home page I’d be very happy!
