Hi. I have four menu items, HOME, ABOUT, GALLERY, CONTACT. I want to create a dedicated new page called HOME with relevant homepage content and use it as my static home page. However, when I add it there are now two HOME menu items. How do I remove the default one that comes with the template so I can use my content and SEO customized one?

Hey,
you can create a custom menu (Appearance > Menu). You can add custom links (i.e. custom home link), pages and categories, etc.. I posted a tutorial here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/i-can’t-create-a-custom-menu-the-menu-behaves-weirdYou can also rename the menu items after you added them to your menu.
