Strange Variation in Color Section Height

Hi, I’m seeing something strange happen with color sections – sometimes, they fill the entire space, including other layout elements, only stopping when they hit another color section. Most other times, they function as I would expect – with height applied as normal, and content in other layout elements discretely below. Is this a known issue? There doesn’t seem to be any specific setting that triggers this, but I may not have been systematic enough in checking options and testing.

Unfortunately the site is now only on a private local machine, so it’s hard to expose to external review, I can update once it has been moved to the live server.
