    I’m using Firebug but can’t seem to figure out a few styling issues now that I’ve made the entire background a dark color, and searching through this forum hasn’t given me exactly what I’m looking for.

    1. I’d like to change the color of the 1px lines throughout the site (above the menu and logo, between the sections of my dynamic template, between the content and sidebar, etc)

    2. Change the background color of the drop down menus; they are still the dark grey from the dark-skin.css

    You can see the site at the temporary URL: http://50.23.215.211/~agilardi/

    Thanks!

    You can change the background color of the menu items with following code:

    #top #header .main_menu .menu ul li a {
    background: #333;
    }

    #top #header .main_menu .menu ul li a:hover {
    background: #222;
    }

    Regarding the 1px lines. They’re so many – to be honest I can’t investigate the whole site to find them all. I suggest to use Firebug or the Chrome dev tools to find the right elements and to adjust the css code accordingly.

    Thank you, Dude. You answered the more important question anyway. :)

    Although I prefer to use custom.css to restyle themes, I’ve been digging through dark-skin.css and removing the 1px lines myself.

    Again, I appreciate the help!
