    Hi, I have been contacted by someone who pointed out that my site was screwed up and that they could fix it for me. When I checked on the site, sure enough it was now broken. Worked fine up until yesterday.

    The individual pointed out that there was bad code and that they would fix it for a price.

    The bad code is on the home page in this line …

    <link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://acerr.org/wp-content/themes/newscast/css/style1.css” type=”text/css” media=”screen”/> ..>

    He says ..> should be –>

    Can anyone advise if this is correct and if so which file contains that code to allow me to change it.

    TIA

    Ritch

    Hey,

    I’m not sure if someone “hacked” the website however you need to change:

    <!-- <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Ace RaceRunning Club RSS2 Feed" href="http://acerr.org/?feed=rss2" />
    <link rel="pingback" href="http://acerr.org/xmlrpc.php" />

    <!-- stylesheets -->
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://acerr.org/wp-content/themes/newscast/js/prettyPhoto/css/prettyPhoto.css" type="text/css" media="screen"/>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://acerr.org/wp-content/themes/newscast/style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://acerr.org/wp-content/themes/newscast/css/style1.css" type="text/css" media="screen"/> ..>

    to:

    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Ace RaceRunning Club RSS2 Feed" href="http://acerr.org/?feed=rss2" />
    <link rel="pingback" href="http://acerr.org/xmlrpc.php" />

    <!-- stylesheets -->
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://acerr.org/wp-content/themes/newscast/js/prettyPhoto/css/prettyPhoto.css" type="text/css" media="screen"/>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://acerr.org/wp-content/themes/newscast/style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://acerr.org/wp-content/themes/newscast/css/style1.css" type="text/css" media="screen"/>
