Hi, on my home page i’ve tried to add my products under a tabbed content so they can click between my 3 category products like so:
However, as you can see it has an ugly side bar and bottom scroll bar, is there anyway to get rid of these?
Also you may notice the product background is the exact same colour as the tabbed contents background, this is because theyre both under the ‘alternative background’ colour code. Is there anyway to change just the product background at all so they stand out against the tabbed content background?
Many thanks, JamieJanuary 2, 2013 at 4:01 pm #101685
We’ll need to inspect the layout live to see if there is anything that can be done. I’m not familiar with the exact layout/structure you’ve created so its just too hard to tell from an image.

Thanks for the reply Devin,
My website is: http://www.FifaCoinStore,com
I would of liked the tab content to be on my home page.
It may create those scroll bars due to the right side bar? Im not sure..

It doesn’t look like you still have that layout on the home page. Can you re-add it in or put the layout on a test page?January 4, 2013 at 8:44 pm #101688
Just downloaded the highly popular WP-UI Plugin (http://kav.in/wp-ui-for-wordpress/) that allows me to use Tabs and Accordions however they’re either working incorrectly or the theme isnt allowing it to work?
I’ve created a test page for you to view, here it is: http://www.fifacoinstore.com/tabbed-content/
This tabs table will ideally go onto my home page to show my products in their correct tabs and be operational and also only display the products that they’re meant to..
Here’s the coding used:
[wptabs style=”wpui-blue” mode=”horizontal”]
[wptabtitle] Xbox 360 Coins[/wptabtitle] [wptabcontent]Xbox 360 Fifa Ultimate Team 13 Coins [product_category category=”x360-coins” per_page=”12″ columns=”4″ orderby=”price” order=”asc”][/wptabcontent]
[wptabtitle] PS3 Coins[/wptabtitle] [wptabcontent]PS3 Fifa Ultimate Team 13 Coins [product_category category=”ps3-coins” per_page=”12″ columns=”4″ orderby=”price” order=”asc”][/wptabcontent]
[wptabtitle] Runescape Gold[/wptabtitle] [wptabcontent]Runescape Gold [product_category category=”rs-golds” per_page=”12″ columns=”4″ orderby=”price” order=”asc”]
Cheers!January 5, 2013 at 6:23 pm #101689
Ok sorted the tabs now..
Is there no way to just disable the layout when people view my site via a mobile and leave the website as resizable when vistied on a PC or laptop etc?January 7, 2013 at 3:28 pm #101690
No, unfortunately not. The responsive nature of the site is specifically built to respond to all of the various screen sizes including mobile. It can either be off entirely or on.
As for the tabs, the page you linked pulled a 404 error for me. We also really aren’t able to offer support for third party plugins. If you are having issues with the theme shortcode we can take a look but otherwise we just aren’t familiar with all the various plugins out there.
