How can I reduce the height of the shadowed text area on the featured images slider? On the Newscast demo it only takes up approx 20% of the image height but in my blog it is nearly half. How can I fix that??? This is what it looks like...

OK, I just tried something. I removed all the text body from the only post that had anything besides the title and it reduced the size of the shadow text area down to what I wanted. So does that mean that a featured image attached to a blog post will inflate the text shadow area out of proportion???
