    I’d like to have a text area to the right of the logo and above the menu (basically a statement next to the logo). Is there a way to have that be an editable element of a template in the template builder (so that each template could have a different statement)? I imagine this could be done with a bit of CSS but am not sure exactly how to do it so the text scales down responsively.

    If that’s not possible, I assume I could just hard code the statement into the layout file. If that’s the case, can you offer any guidance on how to deal with those CSS values so the text responsively scales down appropriately?

    Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

    Hi jwcash,

    In order to do this you would have to edit the template header.php. This is the code you’re looking for:

    echo "<div class='main_menu' data-selectname='".__('Select a page','avia_framework')."'>";
    $args = array('theme_location'=>'avia', 'fallback_cb' => 'avia_fallback_menu', 'max_columns'=>4);
    wp_nav_menu($args);
    echo "</div>";

    You’ll want to add your text before the <div class=’main_menu’ … like this:

    echo "<p class='my-text'>This is the text I want to add</p><div class='main_menu' data-selectname='".__('Select a page','avia_framework')."'>";
    $args = array('theme_location'=>'avia', 'fallback_cb' => 'avia_fallback_menu', 'max_columns'=>4);
    wp_nav_menu($args);
    echo "</div>";

    The text should automatically scale down as appropriate that is as long as you don’t add any custom CSS that would override default settings.

    Hope this helps!
