    After clicking on a portfolio item you can click on ‘Read more’. When clicked on it, the text which is shown then is a small and long column of text outlined to the right. How can I make it possible that the text after ‘read more’ is shown justified acros the full width underneath the picture? If this is possible, how can I ensure that the text automatically moves down if a large picture is shown?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    If I understand your inquiry correctly, you can edit includes > loop-portfolio-single.php and delete this code

    the_content(__('Read more →','avia_framework'));

    Now look for this code

    <?php echo $slideHtml; ?>

    Replace it with

    <?php echo $slideHtml; the_content(__('Read more &rarr;','avia_framework')); ?>

    Hi Ismael,

    One more question regarding the above. Is it also possible to justify the text to the left directly under the picture when you click once on a portfolio, so before the ‘continue reading’? How can I adjust that?

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Hi,

    Do you mean something like this ? http://i.imgur.com/wt2bU.png

    The text under the pic?

    If that’s it then open helper-templates.php in the /includes/ folder and find lines 1252-1263 which look like

    echo avia_advanced_hr(false, 'small');
    the_content(__('Read more →','avia_framework'));
    echo "</div>";

    echo "</div>";

    echo "</div>";

    echo "</div>";

    die();

    delete code above and paste the code below in its place

    echo avia_advanced_hr(false, 'small');
    //the_content(__('Read more →','avia_framework'));
    echo "</div>";

    echo "</div>";
    echo avia_advanced_hr(false, 'small');
    the_content(__('Read more →','avia_framework'));
    echo "</div>";

    echo "</div>";

    die();

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for your reply. This is almost what I meant. If possible I would like to have the text directly under the picture, even next to the right text with information about the startups: http://www.bigdata-startups.com, actually the same as it is when you click on ‘continue reading’.

    How can I do that?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    I am sorry I can’t understand what you are asking. Please take a screenshot of the page and draw me something , where objects on the page move, etc. you can upload it to imgur.com and there are many addons for your browser to take a screenshot with (imgur has one too).

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for your reply. I have uploaded two visuals. The first one: http://bit.ly/S4KMJo shows how I would like to have it. The second one: http://bit.ly/S4KQsA shows how it is now. Does this make it clear for you?

    Thanks.

    Hi Mark,

    As far as I know what you want to happen isn’t possible without significantly altering how the entire page is generated. The way the elements are structured just doesn’t allow for the content to be wrapped under the slideshow like that.

    Hi Devin,

    That is unfortunate to hear but thanks for your reply.
