    I’d like to change the avia slider display on the home page. I’ve already figured out how the eliminate the thumbnails and now I’d like to add the slider navigation as pictured below.

    can I receive more info on what code do I need to add/edit or the documentation for the Avia slider?

    Thanks for the quick reply, however I already removed the thumbnails. Now I’d like to add the ‘dot navigation” as pointed out in the above picture.

    Sorry, I didn’t point out things right. Actually the last post of mine in the link posted above was the solution. I’ll post it here again :)

    Find slideshow.php located in avisio/framework/shortcodes

    Please replace following code:

    $return .= '    slides: ".featured",';
    $return .= ' slideControlls: "items",';
    $return .= ' appendControlls: ".slider_'.$uniqueClass.'",';

    $return .= '    slides: ".featured",';
    $return .= ' slideControlls: "no",';
    $return .= ' appendControlls: ".slider_'.$uniqueClass.'",';

    Again, thank you for the uber quick reply. However it still doesn’t solve my problem. I’ve already removed the thumbnails and now I want to add the dot display. I changed the code as in the above reply and still do not have the dots there.

    Just delete following two lines from custom.js:

    //adds the functionallity of external controlls, in our case the small thumbnail images
    jQuery('#wrapper_featured_area .slidecontrolls').aviaSlider_externalControlls();

    Sorry for the confusion – I tough you’re refering to the shortcode “aviaslider” all the time. I shouldn’t rush through the posts too quick :)
