The result of instant search is not the same as full search - Support

I dont get the same result on the instant search and the “show all search result”.
I know the results where the same before, but now i’ve both moved the site to another location and upgraded to version 3.0.8. Im not sure when the error appeared.

Has there been changes to the search function later releases? Is it possible to fix that the result is the same?

Hey Mathias!

Your talking about the AJAX search in your header? It’s going to sort the results based on type, posts, pages, custom posts, etc etc.

I tested it out on your site and it seems to be working fine.

Yes it works fine but if you search for example “baspaket” the “real time” ajax search difffers from the result when you press enter.

Is it possible to modify how the ajax sort the search result?

Please try using more advanced search plugins such as SearchWP ( http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-searchwp-instead-of-the-standard-search/ ) or Relevanssi ( http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-relevanssi-in-search-instead-of-the-default-search/ )

I ended up using Relevanssi. Seems to work as expected.
