The error log file is giving the following information:

[31-Oct-2013 15:11:40 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home2/jzorroco/public_html/wp-content/themes/broadscope/framework/php/class-superobject.php on line 192

    How do I solve this?

    Thanks,

    Joao

    Hi!

How do I upgrade the theme? (my version is 1.1.3)

The link you mention is related to PHP upgrade not theme upgrade.

    Thanks,

    Joao

    Hi!

Latest version of Broadscope is 1.5.

Here’s a video on how to update it via FTP:

    Hi,

My Broadscope theme version is 1.1.3 how can i update to the latest without any problem on the existing website.

    Thanks for your kind advise.

    Regards.

    Hi!

You can follow the same steps as in the video. I believe I mention making a backup of the theme files if you want (just downloading the theme before updating) but that is what you would do.

If you’ve modified the actual theme files then you will need to re-add in those changes after updating.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    Thanks for the response.

Don’t quite understand the “(just downloading the theme before updating)” bit.

Please, if you don’t mind explaining further.

    Appreciation.

    Hi!

I think Devin would like you to download the latest version of the theme on your themeforest account then update your installation via FTP. Watch the video Josue provided.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
