    I thought I had this all figured out, then I fell off of my pedestal. I made several different custom.js files, each one by copying from the avia slider documentation. But they don’t seem to work. Shouldn’t this be all that is needed in the custom.js for a particular effect to work? I don’t see any images loading when i run it. What am I doing wrong?

    $(document).ready(function(){

    //activate the lightbox
    jQuery(‘a[href$=jpg], a[href$=png], a[href$=gif], a[href$=jpeg]‘).prettyPhoto({theme: “light_square”});

    // here you can see the slide options I used in the demo page. depending on the id of the slider a different setup gets activated
    $(‘#fading-top-curtain’).aviaSlider({
    blockSize: {height: 40, width:’full’},
    display: ‘topleft’,
    transition: ‘fade’,
    betweenBlockDelay:150,
    animationSpeed: 600,
    switchMovement: true
    });

    });

    Hey AzArgyll!

    Thank you for visiting the support forum!

    Do you mind if we take a look at the actual page with an example? What is the theme that you’re currently using? Note that you still need to register and enqueue scripts in order for them to work. Please refer to these links for more info:

    I figured it out. I see from other posts, after much searching, that I needed to call the effect with the id tag. All is working now.

    Thanks,
