I’ve been working on a new site using this great theme. Everything seems to be working and operating properly. But, I just noticed that when I select the Theme Editor, there’s nothing there but a long string of error messages. One is:

Warning: scandir(/home/****/austinsilentflyers.org/newsite/wp-content/themes/display) [function.scandir]: failed to open dir: Permission denied in /home/****/austinsilentflyers.org/newsite/wp-includes/class-wp-theme.php on line 980

I’m not really sure what happened and I’m a bit concerned because if I have to edit, I won’t be able to. Can someone please help? I was about ready to go live with the site and am wary to do so now. Thanks!

This seems to be a ftp permission issue. Set the permission of the wp-content/themes/display folder to 777 and check if this solves the problem. If yes try to use 755 and check if it still works. If not you need to use 777 which is a bit dangerous though…
