    I set up my front page with a fullwidth slider and then began to modify my menu. Once I modified my menu and saved everything and went back to view the page, the slider was one and my home page was distorted. What could I have done wrong?
    Thank you.

    Also,
    How do I change the copyright information in the footer? Also, I made changes to my menu and now my front page is distorted. The slide show under the theme settings is no longer an option. What could I have done wrong?

    Yes,www.pcnetworked.com/Preti. I have gone to the footer area, however, I still cannot remove all of the dummy content.

    Hey!

    1- Your frontpage looks fine right now. Can you post a screenshot and show the issue you are having?
    2- Please go to Brightbox theme options > Footer and edit “Footer Textarea”

    In my front page footer I still see “copyright-borinqens WordPress”. I have gone to the Editor footer PHP area to change this, however, it is still showing up.
    2.Also on the footer instead of having the categories and interesting links I would like to have my top menu displayed horizontally for example, “Home, About Us, etc. How can I display that.
    3. Also, how do I hide the page titles for each page, for example in my home page I want to remove the title that says “home”.

    Thanks.

    Hi!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Brightbox theme options under Styling tab
    1-

    span.copyright {
    display: none;
    }

    2- Please go to Appearance > Widgets and add Custom Menu widget to one of the footer widget areas.
    3- Please add following code to Quick CSS as well

    #top .post-title { display: none; }

    Cheers!

    Thanks Yigit for your prompt response! One thing though, this does fix the footer issue, however, now my copyright does not display at all.
    1. How can I just add only my copyright.
    2.Also, I would like to change the primary color to just white and the background color of the theme to maybe a light blue. I don’t see an option for white in the Brightbox Styling Options nor do I see an option to change the background color of the homepage. How can this be done?

    Thanks!

    #305669

    3. One thing with the footer menu, I had already added the custom menu to the footer but the problem is that it does not display it horizontally it only displays vertically like the categories, archives ,etc. How can I get it to display horizontally , example: Home, About Us, Portfolio, etc.

    Any suggestions? Tks.

    #306298

    Hey!

    1- If you remove the code i posted here – http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/theme-frontpage/#post-305648
    copyright section will look like this – http://i.imgur.com/aTYHBBB.png
    What exactly would you like to have written on copyright section?
    2- You can set Primary color in Styling tab to #FFFFFF and for background color, please use following code

    .home div#wrap_all {
    background-color: pink;
    }

    3- Column witdh is not enough for all of your menu items to be displayed horizontally in one line. Please add the code to Quick CSS to see how it looks

    #footer .widget_nav_menu li { width: 33%; float: left; clear: right; }

    Cheers!

    2.) I already had the primary color set to #FFFFFF, however, it is gray and not white and the code you gave me for the background is Pink and not red so I changed it to red, however, it is too bright. How can I modify the lightness of the color red?

    3.) The column will look good this way, however, since I have not added any content to the other footers, I have the dummy content that is showing up (interesting links, archives and categories.) How can I get everything deleted except for the menu going horizontally and the copyright at the bottom?

    Thanks!

    Ok, perfect. Just wondering for future reference. By the way, I am still making an attempt with primary color on the top of age but it’s still not working. What am I doing wrong here? Tks

    Sorry, my keyboard (print screen) tab is not working. What I am trying to change is the Demo Heading primary color. There is not option for white and I have added other colors through code, however, it’s still not changing.

    Thanks,

    2) Also, I would like to create a portfolio page with different photos. How do I achieve this so that it looks like your theme page. I want to create a three column portfolio page.

    Thanks

    Any suggestions? Tks

    #307463

    Hi!

    1- Please add following code to Quick CSS

     div#header {
    background-image: none!important;
    background-color: white;
    }

    it will make your social icons invisible. Please go to /wp-content/themes/brightbox/images/skin1 folder and edit rss.png and facebook.png files and change color of social icons.
    2- Please go to Brightbox > Template Builder and add Portfolio element to your page template – http://i.imgur.com/LkRGzSc.png

    P.S.: Please create new topic for your new questions

    Cheers!

    I am making an attempt to change the color of the social icons as you indicated, however, I have gone through my FTP and when I access the PNG file in Photoshop I don’t see a way to change the actual color. What am I missing?

    Thanks.

    #307962

    Hi!

    Please replace with following icons
    Facebook: https://www.iconfinder.com/icons/107140/circle_facebook_gray_icon#size=24
    RSS: https://www.iconfinder.com/icons/107147/circle_gray_rss_icon#size=24
    You should download 24x24px

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    #307973

    Ok, I will give this a try. Once I download it then I just upload through FTP?

    Also, How would I change the background skin of just my front page to Red? I just want to change it for my Home page.

    #307979

    Hi!

    1- Exactly, you should navigate to /wp-content/themes/brightbox/images/skin1 and then upload your new icons and rename them to rss.png and facebook.png

    2- You can add “.home” selector in front of your custom CSS code as following

    .home div#main { background-color: red; }

    If you can post a screenshot and show the changes you would like to make, we can help you better.
    You can use Snipping Tool on Windows and CMD + Shift + 4 on MAC to take screenshots. Then you can upload them on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and post the links here

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Sorry, since I am new to this, things are not as obvious. Should I add the CSS code to my style Sheet in the child theme I created?
