I am new in wordpress ,when I install Newcast I am missing three item in Theme option .New slider is not working, image missing ????November 20, 2010 at 6:23 am #37550
You want to take the folder newscast (it’ll contain files like index.php, 404.php, etc. directly beneath it), and place it in wp-content/themes. I think you might placed the folder with documentation and the theme in the directory by accident. If you need more help let me know.November 20, 2010 at 5:10 pm #37551

So you need to find where the wordpress installation is, then you can go into the folder: wp-content/themes</content> and place the contents of the zip file there. Or a better option is to go to Appearance > Themes > Install Themes (tab) > Upload. There just upload your zip file.November 21, 2010 at 11:07 pm #37554
I have no idea what have I done. I downloaded the zip file, extracted the newscast folder and installed it into wp-content/themes. I don´t know where to insert the menus (it appears that I have only one menu on the theme), I don´t know how to change the header… I´m so sad. I thought it would be easier. :(November 22, 2010 at 3:58 am #37555
Nothing happen, if you gay not fix this theme otherwise i will decline payment.Noah you repetting the same answer .Please read what you writhing,Don’t redirect me to video broken theme because you have corrupted file. Please ??????November 22, 2010 at 12:11 pm #37556
If you feel that the theme files are corrupt download them again. Nobody reported corrupt files yet – you’re the only one – so it’s very likely that it’s a problem with your server/setup and not a problem with our theme files. To make the slider work correctly you need to add a featured image to the post. The option can be found on the right side (right sidebar) of your post editor.
Just a side note: My motivation to help you decreases dramatically if you call Noah or any other person/support staff member in this forum a “gay”. Please be aware that we are not under obligation to help everyone. It’s a special service Kriesi provides for his customers – we can exclude persons who behave badly/crassly. Consider this as a first warning.
Just to prove my statement above: http://wiki.envato.com/buying/support-buying/how-to-get-support-for-an-item-which-isnt-working-correctly/November 22, 2010 at 1:13 pm #37557
