    Hi there,

I have an issue. I’m adding images to my portfolio but with two of them the thumbnail get a different size so that the alignment is irregular. Even the grey preview doesn’t match. The image size I’m uploading is 360x438pxl, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

    Here’s a link to check it: http://movimentsgrafics.net/test/portfolio/treballs-realitzats/

Another question: I’d like the menu PORTFOLIO not to be linkable as the content to show is just the one under his root.

    Thanks for helping.

    Hi Lore,

For at least some of them, the images are different sizes. See: http://movimentsgrafics.net/test/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/carteles.jpg vs http://movimentsgrafics.net/test/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Lona_digital_montajes1.jpg.

You can use a plugin like this one http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-image-sizes/ to view the image sizes the theme creates or just look a the functions.php file in the theme file. Also use it to regenerate the thumbnails if the grayscale issue happens again.

    Thank you Devin,

I’m trying to manage the plugin

As for my other question, can you help me with that?: I’d like the menu PORTFOLIO not to be linkable as the content to show is just the one under his root (the drop down menu).

    Kind regards,

    Lore

    Hi Lore,

You can go into the wordpress Menu manager and replace the Portfolio menu item with a custom menu item. Put the # symbol for the URL and then name it Portfolio. Then drag and drop to replace the linked portfolio menu item with the custom menu item.

It will still show as a link when hovered over but it won’t take the user anywhere. As far as I know, this is the only way to do this with wordpress.

    Regards,

    Devin
