I’m using titels & icons on my homepage and I thought everything was all right until I’ve watched my site at the office.

    * Everything looks good on Safari (at home) and on Internet Explorer 8 (also at the office).

    * But when I look it at Internet Explorer 7, I got the following:

Maybe there is a better way to achieve this? My code is the following:

    <h1 class=”post-title”>KBC Verzekeringen</h1>

    [one_third first]

    <h3 class=”title”>Contacteer ons</h3>

    W&V Verzekeringen

Any idea how I can fix that? It’s not really looking good if on some computers it looks correct and on some it looks messed up!

    Thanks already for your anwers!

Maybe it’s better to post my code here as a screenshot.

I Just want a title and under the title an icon (aligned left) with text wrapped around the icon on the right & bottom

    my code:

    And the result in IE7:

Also the second icon (orange) is not aligned properly in IE7. (way to much to the right)

I also noticed that in IE7 when I go to my html-code it also adds som <p>’s before my code (see marked in red on screenshot)

Hope that this is a layout-problem that’s known and can be solved because the computers of the people who I’m selling my site to are all working on Internet Explorer 7…!!

    Thanks for your anwers already!

Is it possible that it has something to do with the png-icons i use?

Should it be .ico icons? or in other format?

When I add the following line <h1 class=”post-title”></h1>

    in front of:

    <h1 class=”post-title”>KBC Verzekeringen</h1>

    [one_third first]

    <h3 class=”title”>Contacteer ons</h3>

it works. But this is a little “dirty” in my opinion.

Alle other (nicer) word-arounds may be posted of course!!;-))

    Thanks in advance!

the only “clean” option I can think of is what vanwero stated. Thanks for helping out, vanwero!

If this doesn’t work for you please do say so!
