I have some trouble with toggles/accordeons in IE 9 in a client’s project. I have found one or two posts here that didn’t work for me.

Accordeons work fine on your demo site (http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/toggles-accordions/) in IE 9 which seems to be running under Enfold 3.4.2 & WP 4.4.1

However they do NOT work on a brand new blank installation I just created for demonstration of this issue (http://enfold.e5lab.com/index.php/beispiel-seite/#toggle-id-1) or with demo data (http://enfold-demo.e5lab.com/index.php/shortcodes/toggles-accordions/). Both are running under the latest Enfold (3.4.7) & WP (4.4.2) versions and no plugins. So this has to be a genuine issue.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey Thomas!

IE9 is for now also not been developed from Microsoft, so we are not going to give it a lot of work on it.
Please do upgrade to a more modern Browser.

    Cheers!

    Hi Basilis,

I know IE 9 is not the most modern browser, but it still has a significant market share, espacially in corporate Windows networks. Therefore it’s still relevant for B2B websites.

So if you (or anybody else) have any idea what might be the issue (it seems like something changed between 3.4.2 and 3.4.7 I would really appreciate it. :)

    Thanks

    Hey!

I tested the site on IE8 and the toggles are working there so I guess it’s safe to say that it should work on IE9 as well. I don’t see any errors so it’s kinda hard to debug the issue. Do you have any third party plugins installed in the browser? Make sure that the compatibility mode is turned off.

    Cheers!
    Ismael
