If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I recently went live with a site using Choices. It looks great & I’ve had great support while building it.
After using SEO tools to double check some things, there’s an issue with too many H1 tags on the homepage (possibly on other pages, too, haven’t checked those.)
It looks like the logo is marked as an H1, as is the slider.
How/where can I edit the code so that only the titles I manually mark as <h1></h1> are such?
For the logo, you can remove the h1 and change it to a plain div. You’ll need to open framework>php>function-set-avia-frontend.php and then search for:
$logo = "<h1 class='logo'><a href='".home_url('/')."'>".$logo."</a></h1>";
Change it to:
$logo = "<div class='logo'><a href='".home_url('/')."'>".$logo."</a></div>";
I don’t see the slider in an h1 element but any others you want to change from h1 will need to be changed likewise.
