    I have 2 Questions:

    Could you tell me how I can change the top menu color? The one at the top of the page.

    Second if I add a custom background what dimensions should it be?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi asheahan,

    To change the menu’s link color add this to your custom.css:

    .main_menu .menu li a strong {
    color: #ff3300 !important;
    }

    To change what’s shown underneath the link add this to your custom.css:

    .main_menu .menu li a span {
    color: #999999;
    }

    You’ll want to change the color values as you see fit.

    As far as a custom background, the dimension depends on 1) what the background image is for e.g. the overall website, just menu or just footer and 2) your preference. If you want a full-size image to display as the website’s background then I suggest using one 1600px wide (height relative) or using a seamless background that repeats across the page.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for your reply, I should have been more specific; I am trying to change the background color and link colors of the very top menu bar- at the top of the page- the one that holds the social icons…..and the footer color. Sorry for not being specific…my fault. Thank you.

    Hi asheahan,

    No problem. To change those colors you would use this:

    #header .submenu {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #000000;
    border-bottom: 7px solid #EEEEEE;
    color: #AAAAAA;
    }

    #header .submenu a {
    color: #AAAAAA;
    }

    #header .submenu a:hover {
    color: #FFFFFF;
    text-decoration: underline;
    }

    Regards,

    Mya
