    here I am again with a question about Coalition theme…

    In my site the top of a page section (I mean the page title and the small colored stripe) is not aligned with the top of the logo in the left sidebar, as it happens in your theme live preview and in other sites that use it I’ve seen.

    What does control top page position?

    Thanks again

    could you link to your site please? This way we can give specific instructions.

    I’m sorry but I can not even put my site online… ( is coming soon… I hope!)

    Maybe the attached image can halp you to understand my quastion: the green line in the picture (the top of a page section) should be aligned with the red line (the top of logo image)… of course only when I go to a page section using sidebar menu and not scrolling up or down manually…

    thanks again

    add following code to css/custom.css and adjust the margin top value (very likely you need to decrease it and use a higher negative value):

    #top .logo, .logo a {
    margin-top: -30px;

    Thanks… but that’s what I get using the css code with negative value… the logo is cut!

    You can try moving your entire sidebar up.

    Undo what you did previously and open up your style.css and find

    .sidebar {
    margin: 0pt;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0pt 30px 30px 0pt;
    position: relative;
    width: 260px;

    now change the margin to:

    margin: -20px 0 0 0;

    Of course you can play around with the values.
