    Hi,

Is there any advice on how to make sure that a website with Enfold theme runs smoothly when getting a lot of traffic? Due to an event we expect approx. 3000-5000 users at the same time on the website. We will increase capacity on the server, use CDN, cache plugin and optimise images. What are your experiences with high traffic load and can you advice anything regarding the optimisation of the Enfold theme itself?

I read in a previous thread that the Kriesi website gets hundreds of thousands of visitors per month (congrats! :)), but just wanted to be sure that the website will also handle a couple of thousand visitors at the same time!

    Thanks!

    Hi!

The theme doesn’t has to do much with how your site handles big traffic but more on the server side, nevertheless i’d suggest you to have it optimised, Kriesi uses these two plugins here:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bwp-minify/

    Cheers!
