    Hi!

    You can use following css code

    .sidebar .box {
    background: rgba(255,255,255,0.5);
    }

    - insert it into the quick css field.

    If you want to use another color or opacity value I’d suggest to use this tool: http://hex2rgba.devoth.com/

    Hi,

    IE doesn’t support rgba values. Unfortunately, you can’t use the technique to create transparent backgrounds. You can use this:

    .sidebar .box {
    background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5); /* browsers */
    filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(GradientType=0,startColorstr='#4cffffff', endColorstr='#4cffffff'); /* IE */
    }

    You can also use the repeating background image using a transparent png.

    Hi,

    What version of IE do you have? As I said it is difficult to set a transparent background on IE, you need to use the transparent png background image.
