    Hi,

    When I click on an image a popup appears with the larger version of the image. How do I turn this off? I think it’s called lightbox?

    Hey,

    in js/avia.js delete following code:

    //activates the prettyphoto lightbox
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').avia_activate_lightbox();

    //activates the hover effect for image links
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_hover_effect)
    jQuery('#main, #header').avia_activate_hover_effect();

    Many thanks. Can this be turned off on a page by page basis ?

    Yes – you can use the .not() function: http://api.jquery.com/not/ to exclude certain pages. I.e. for the page with the id “12″ use:

    //activates the prettyphoto lightbox
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').not('.page-id-12').avia_activate_lightbox();

    However it’s a bit tricky if you’d like to exclude many pages because you need to add “.not(‘.page-id-XX’)” for every page id.

    Thanks again. One final question, what file would I modify to include the example you used?

    #56983

    You need to modify js/avia.js

    When I comment out the code above to disable the lightbox, it still leaves the image as a clickable link that now just opens in the browser window. Is there a way to remove the a href from the slideshow image all together so it’s just a non-clickable slideshow?

    Thank you.

    Hey,

    as far as I know this is not possible. You can’t remove the link itself.

    Is there a way to link the images to pages?

    How do you get to the js/avia.js or js folder in the wordpress dashboard to modify these files?
