Is it possible to create two separate galleries in a single portfolio entry?

I would like to have a portfolio entry for a single project. I would like to have two galleries of pictures. One set is “before” pictures, the other is “after” pictures. I tried doing this by copying the html code and duplicating it in the entry, but all that did was make two copies of the same gallery. I did not see anyway to create or name galleries as separate items in one entry.

    Thanks,

    Tom

    Hey,

this is not possible with the standard wordpress gallery but you can use plugins like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nextgen-gallery/

I would like to +1 this as a feature request. Being able to use the categories to create sub-galleries in portfolios would be a huge benefit. I’m very surprised it can’t be done.

I’d like to be able to have an ‘Events’ item in my portfolio, and then different galleries within that.

I think it’s better to use dedicated gallery plugins for this task.

I disagree. You have created a portfolio section, but the average photographer is not able to use it to create a portfolio. I really like the way your portfolio is presented, do you know a plugin that is able to provide something that looks as good? Galleries in NextGen are very unattractive.
