    I know there was a thread about this very topic here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/text-box-not-editable/
    I have tried the latest Chrome and FF on Mac and PC, but still it doesn’t work. I have tried to enable/disable “Disable the visual editor when writing” but without any effect – when I try to edit my texts I get the placeholder text.
    I am hosting on WPengine so I would assume that all the “back end settings” are ok.
    Does anyone have a suggested workaround for this.

    Super weirdness going on. I removed the 2/5 blocks where I had my text blocks and redid everything again and now it works?!
    I am not feeling 100% comfortable with this, but hey, it seems to be working… so far.
