    Hi there,

I just noticed how when I receive a message from a prospect who filled up a form on my site, my reply is not delivered if I hit the reply button.

I see that the ‘reply to’ address is not the one of the sender (although it appears to be that when I compose the message). It’s in reality an address that has to do with the server where my site is hosted.

Can you help me out understanding what I need to do to make sure if I hit ‘reply’, it goes to the sender?

    Thank you.
Here is a screenshot of the issue:

    Hi,

I have a similiar or the same problem:

Is it possible to set the sender-email-adress from the contact-form-messages to the email that was entered by the user to the contact form?
The reason: I’d like to reply the recived contact-form-messages by “Reply”. But now the sender of the contact-form-messages am I myself.

    Thanks

    Lukas

    Hey!

    @Lymphater

This is not a theme feature. Feel free to ask this in general WordPress forum. You might need to use a plugin for this function. Maybe contact form 7 can help you.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi @Andy,

Basically what I need is to be able to hit reply to a message that’s been delivered to my inbox via the form created on Enfold using the form element and make sure the ‘reply to’ address is the one of the sender who contacted me, not a different one, thati is always the same and is apparently related to my server.

How do I go about that?

Also, if Contsct Form 7 is the way to go, can you explain how that integrates with the form element in Enfold and why I’d need that if there already is a form element in Enfold?

I send you the login credential to access my backend privately below.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi!

enfold’s form is using WordPress standard behavior only. Contact form 7 is much more complex. Again: this is not a theme feature, so you would need to find a solution/answer for is in another place. Wish you good luck!

    Andy

    Thank you @Andy,

How does Contact Form 7 integrate with Enfold? I mean, is CF7 alternative and how would I build it in the Avia Builder Layout?

    Thank you

    Hi!

CF7 ist just a normal standalone plugin, as any other plugin. I think it uses shortcodes, which you can implement into ALB. Just install it and check out their documentation. If you have questions about CF7 feel free to reach out their support team.

    Regards,
    Andy
