    Hello! I have a similar problem with this issue: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/cyrillic-hash-in-address/. I tried to follow the provided solution given (editing helper-templates.php and register-admin-dynamic-one-page-portfolio.php) but although the hash in URL is visual, the hash link does not have the desired operation (smoothly scroll among several hash points). Instead of this, clicking the hash link, a new page is openned.

    What else do I need to edit in code to make it work?

    Thanks

    p.s. I forgot to mention you that I use WordPress 3.8.1

    Hi!

    I have built the website locally (localhost) and i haven’t published yet. I need to have it finished in order to publish it. What else we can do to solve the issue?

    Many Regards!

    Hey!

    I think something causes a js error on your website which breaks the “scroll” script. This would also explain why the link opens in a new tab/window instead of triggering the smooth scroll animation. I don’t know what triggers the error though and I need to debug the code first hand. If you don’t want that other users can access the website please install a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode/ and send us the login credentials. By going this way you can avoid that others see the unfinished website but we can debug the code.

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hi!

    You must remove the existing “Page Section” elements and then add them to the layout again. Otherwise the “Section ID” field is not available and you can’t use it to insert a hash value. Make sure that only latin characters are used for the “Section ID” value.

    Peter

    Now, an issue occured when i try to change the section color (under the section id). It seems not to change the color of the menu item selecting an item from the menu. It keeps it #444. Before the changes, i did not have any problems.

    Hi!

    I fixed it. I had to replace this code in /includes/admin/register-styles.php
    :

     $section = "section-". avia_backend_safe_string($template['dynamic_section_name'], '-');
     $section     = ".".str_replace('.','-',$section);

    with

        if(!empty($template['dynamic_section_id']))
        {
            $section = "section-".$template['dynamic_section_id'];
        }
        else
        {
            $section = avia_backend_safe_string($template['dynamic_section_name'], '-');
            if(empty($section)) continue;
            $section = "section-". $section;
        }

        $section     = ".".str_replace('.','-',$section);

    Best regards,
    Peter
