    Hi,

    I’ve tried to made a post in my blog. This post is categorized under “Aktuell”. If I switch to this category, there are

    different posts I’ve never seen before and can’t find it in the dashboard. Here’s the link http://www.test.eberlemichael.ch/wordpress/?cat=1.

    The only post I made is called “Knack den Tresor”. Thank you for your help :-)

    I visited the category link: http://www.test.eberlemichael.ch/wordpress/category/aktuell/

    I can see one post, title is “Knack den Tresor”.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer. But on the right under “Letzte Beiträge” it show’s me some posts called 1756, 1757, 1758, 1759 etc…

    I really don’t know what this is :-)

    Did you try to attach the post to another category or to delete and re-create the “aktuell” category? It seems to be a category specific issue because on other archive pages (eg http://www.test.eberlemichael.ch/wordpress/2013/06/ or http://www.test.eberlemichael.ch/wordpress/events/ ) the widget does not list random post ids…

    The Problem is that i can’t delete this category. All the other created category are deletable without any problems.

    Hi Eberle_Wincasa,

    My guess would be a plugin causing some weird permissions issue on that category. You can try disabling all active plugins and then trying to delete that category and re-create it. Additionally, you could try creating a new category temporarily and then add all posts that are currently attached the aktuell category to the new one and try deleting it then.

    Hi,

    Go to Appearance > Widgets, look for Displayed Everywhere widget area. Remove the Recent Posts widget.

    Thank you. But that only hides the Recent Post Widget. I think I’ve found the bug. I created 5 new posts and know it overwrites the unidentifiable posts. Are this unidentifiable posts only placeholders?

    Hi,

    Yes, that is the purpose of the instruction above, to hide the widgets.

    I’m really not sure if that is the case. I think I did answer the same inquiry before. I’ve been looking for it on the forum but I can’t find it. Anyway, good thing they are being remove when you create a new post.
