Hi, an upgrade to 3.4.7 from 3.4.6 broke my existing LayerSliders. If I go to the LayerSlider settings and edit a slider then:
– The text is not as it was before. Well, the text is, but not how it looks (different size, colors).
– The preview doesn’t work (just a blank page, no animation)I see that in 3.4.7 there is a new version of LayerSliders. Probably this new version doesn’t properly upgrade the existing sliders. I have restored my WP to the version with 3.4.6. How can I upgrade without breaking my existing Layersliders?

You could try copying the /enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/ folder from your 3.4.6 installation, update, and then paste it over the new version. You could also try exporting / importing the sliders.

ElliottI could try, but I see other people reporting problems about LayerSlider after upgrading to 3.4.7 as well. For example here, a bug in Layerslider: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problem-with-the-advanced-layerslide/
I could also hope that it will be fixed at 3.4.8 and skip 3.4.7. That might save me another hour testing.

Hi out of thousands of websites that enfold is running on we receive some similar issues and these issue occur because of different settings on different websites. So the problem might not be exactly same for you we cannot say it for sure without checking your site. However we do fix all the bug reports very fast and provide new updates if the issue you are facing is not a critical you may choose to wait until the next release but we do not have an estimated time for the next release at the moment.
