Upgrade Version 1.0.1 to 1.3

   Hi everyone,

   I'm brand new to wordpress, but SO GLAD I've discovered it. It has made my online store look AMAZING. A big thank you to the author of this theme and everyone who has posted, comments, help or on these forums.
   Without you I'd be struggling to come this far with my website.

   I currently have Version 1.0.1 of abundance installed, after installing the latest wordpress and WooCommerce plugin, it seems some functionality has been disabled in this theme. So I am finally decided to upgrade my site.

   It has been running fine since version 1.0.1 and has customer data, products, orders etc in the site.
   So it is essential that the upgrade does not remove or reset anything

   I would like some help as to what files to replace, or how to install this new version.

   Anything is appreciated.

   Hi Ash,

   You can install the update in the same way you originally installed the theme. Make sure to backup any changes you have done to the theme files (custom.css or any others) so that you can add them back in after the update.

   The theme shouldn't make any changes to your products data so you should be fine there. I would suggest, if you have any other plugins running (outside of woocommerce) to temporarily disable them when you update then re-enable them one by one while checking for any errors or issues that might pop up related to conflicting code from the plugin and the theme.

   Hi Devin,

   I've been trying to set up the update as the first time but it says "error there's already the destination file already exists : /homez.466/boudoirs/www/wordpress/wp-content/themes/abundance/

   Do I have to uninstall the previous version?

   You can uninstall the previous version by using WP or use a ftp software (like filezilla) or cpanel to access the wp-content/themes folder. Then make a backup of your current abundance folder (especially if you modified any theme files), delete the "old" theme folder/files and upload the new theme files. I strongly recommend to use ftp to update the theme files.
