If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
So I’ve had Angular running for a client for awhile now, and it’s in dire need of an update because the homepage slider is now broken. I’m hoping the update will fix it. Anyhow, I need to update to the new version without resetting or losing any of my current settings/content. Is there a better way to simply upgrade (overwrite specific files) instead of replacing the whole theme? Please help because I do not want to start over for my client.
Unless you’ve modified the theme files then you can just upload the new theme update as a whole. If you’ve modified the theme files then you need to compare your changes to the version.txt in the main theme download and replace the files mentioned specifically.
