    Installing Theme from uploaded file: themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme.zip
    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the theme…
    The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
    Theme install failed.

    Fed up with my current website created by a website builder due to spam and malware and virus. I figured I could do this myself.
    1. Decided to go for ENFOLD, good advert to promote ideal for beginners.
    2. Purchase a WordPress Host on 1to1
    3. establish dashboard on wordpress and now to upload ENFOLD
    4. WordPress Appearance, themes, upload new theme.
    5. If you have a theme in a .zip format, you may install it by uploading it here
    6. Located zip file on downloaded folder. and..
    The above happens. now what.

    The wordpress theme is off Safe mode and now on Free mode

    have I just wasted $58 cause I cannot get anything to work like it says on the tin.

    Hey RedCarpetvideo!

    That is a very common issue. Please make sure that you are uploading only enfold.zip file. You can also try installing the theme via FTP. We have a video tutorial here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/install-enfold-theme-with-ftp/
