    My clients website is due to launch tomorrow :O

    I’ve just noticed that the black/dark background is now visible about 7px on each side of the browser window… why is this? I have made no changes to the stylesheet…

    Hey Jules,

    You need to post a link to the site so we can see what’s wrong. Does it happen in different browsers?

    In the meantime try disabling any plugins you have active one at a time and see if the problem goes away. A lot of strange behaviour is due to plugin conflicts.

    Thanks

    You have this in your html.css:

    body {

    display: block;

    margin-bottom: 8px;

    margin-left: 8px;

    margin-right: 8px;

    margin-top: 8px;

    }

    I’m guessing it’s that but I can’t change it in firebug to test it.

    Hi Pixomedia,

    Did you get this resolved? Thanks for helping rumblefish!

    Regards,

    Hi Mya!

    I’m not quite sure which document rumblefish is referring to – the html.css? I’m currently in the style.css and can’t see the same code?

    Thank you for all your help everyone!

    Hey :O)

    I don’t know where it is either! It came up when I was checking your site with firebug. Perhaps it’s in one of your plugins. Did you try switching them off?

    You could try putting the revised code into your custom css but add !important after every margin parameter like this:

    body {

    display: block;

    margin-bottom: 0px !important;

    margin-left: 0px !important;

    margin-right: 0px !important;

    margin-top: 0px !important;

    }

    Glad I could help.
