    Hi,

    I would like to use a header in all largeness on the Shoutbox theme. Ideally, I would like to use a single image (as the logo, but with larger dimensions) that is displayed in the entire header, not only on the left (as the basic logo) or on the right (as the advertising image).

    To give you a better idea, here is my draft of the header : http://www.labasesecrete.fr/blog/

    I have centered the logo but I would like to add the different characters on the left of the logo and on its right (their current placement) too. Obviously I would like to do it with a single image, ideally, and to avoid that the characters get in front of the logo as they currently do.

    Also, is it possible to change the header’s background color?

    Hi,

    Just insert a single image as your logo, size should be 940x110px. And then add this on your custom.css

    .paim {
    display: none;
    }

    To change the header background you can use this

    #header {
    background: red;
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Thanks for your answer!

    I have uploaded a single image as my logo with the size you recommended, and then I modified the CSS to put your line but it doesn’t work, the image looks like this : http://www.labasesecrete.fr/blog/

    Hi,

    Use the full size image 940×110. When you upload the image check the 940x110px size before clicking the “Use Image as logo”.

    Thanks, I had not seen this option…

    It works now!

    Is there a way to change the thin line’s color, right above the header? And the ribbon’s white part?

    You can change the color with following code:

    .submenu {
    border-bottom: 7px solid #f1f1f1;
    }

    Insert it into the quick css field and change the color value. I couldn’t find any ribbon on your page though?

    Yes because I found a way to suppress the ribbon!

    Thanks for the color code : I’ve thought about it and is there a way to suppress the top bar?

    Hi Drucci,

    If you mean the black bar on the very top of the scree, use:

    .submenu {
    display: none;
    }

    Devin
