    Basically i’d like to put 2 columns on my main page, each containing a pullquote. Unfortunately I think the pullquote was probably never designed to be used like this maybe as the quoted text is very very narrow. Here’s a screenshot…

    I’d like to make them use the full width of each “half”

    Many thanks!

    In style.css you’ll find

    .pullquote_right {
    float:right;
    margin:2% 0 2% 4%;
    padding:0 0 0 70px;
    width:40%;
    }

    .pullquote_left {
    float:left;
    margin:2% 4% 2% 0;
    padding:0 0 0 70px;
    width:40%;
    }

    If you want to change the width of pullquotes in general just increase the value of 40% to any value you like.

    If you only want to change the value in this special case open up style1.css, style2.css or style3.css and paste following at the bottom of the file:

    .one_half .pullquote_right {
    float:right;
    margin:2% 0 2% 4%;
    padding:0 0 0 70px;
    width:40%; /*change this value*/
    }

    .one_half .pullquote_left {
    float:left;
    margin:2% 4% 2% 0;
    padding:0 0 0 70px;
    width:40%; /*change this value*/
    }

    second ianforest’s comments.

    Not trying to be difficult but this is exactly the kind of question I expect to get answered from support (not just lebowski although that’s kewl “dude”, right on!).

    So is this something that would have gotten answered by support quickly if dude had not replied? I’m just strictly curious as to the level of support I can expect and on what types of issues…obviously css/layout issues being a huge topic. Thank you.

    Well, whilst I would agree that if this was to be a support forum with proper support from the author of the theme and his appointed support staff I would also assume and expect user-to-user support.

    I really don’t expect Kriesi or his appointed staff to monitor and post on this forum 24hrs a day although I guess a timely response is nice. This is the beauty of forums though, if official support is not available at that time for whatever reason (time zones and so on) and a user knows the answer and has some spare moments to pen a reply then i have no problem with that.

    Well Dude is kind of a semi-official supporter. i just don’t know yet how I should label his position since he is not doing this contracted and also doesn’t have any set times :)

    Currently with 3 of us handling support requests you will ALWAYS get a a response within 24 hours :)

    And yes, one of the reasons I ‘ve choosen to use my own support forum rahter than themeforest item threads was that I hoped people would help out if they stumble upon a request they can solve.

    That already happend, and I am glad it did work out as expected :)

    Best reagrds
