    HI there,

I wonder if and how I could use the buld in font icons in an area of regular HTML. I customize a certain part of the website with regular HTML and I have a link there. I want to prepend a little triangle which is included in the font icons to this HTML link.

I found the character map at http://www.entypo.com/characters/ but if I copy the code (e.g. ) and add it to ma link it doesn´t work.

I know this might be a bit out of your support scope but maybe there is a simple solution fo that ;-)

    Cheers
    Michael

    Hey Michael!

Yes, this is possible. I’m pretty sure there’re several ways to get the raw html code but personally I just use the “Icon” shortcode and the developer tools to fetch the html code. I made a short video to demonstrate the workflow: http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/c216DZnkxm

    Regards,

Hmmm…any other idea? It doesn´t work that way when I add it to a pure HTML page. It only works when I add it into the text editor of WordPress but that´s not what I need.

    Hi!

Create the shortcode in a regular page, then on the live side you can copy out the raw html and put it into your html layout. Otherwise you could use the WordPress do_shortcode function.

    Cheers!
