Hi, I saw in your “default demo” (with the restaurant food) that you use a video in Advanced Layer Slider. How were you able to do that?
I tried a YouTube link, but at the end of the video, the play button comes up, even though it’s set to loop.

    Thanks!

    Hey!

Can you please paste the link to the specific demo page where you’ve seen this?

    Cheers!

Sure. Go to your default demo
    http://kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=enfold-overview
and under “Home” select “v9: Videos and parallax”

    Hey!

That slider is not a LayerSlider but a FullScreen Slider, here’s an intro on how to use video backgrounds with Enfold:

Hi Josue, I don’t think that’s correct. Advanced Layer Slider does not have video, Color Section does BUT text is static.
On the demo you have animated text, which leads me to believe it must be Advance Layer Slider.

    Hi!

Yes, the video explains how to insert a background video on a color section, but i posted it because the same method applies for Enfold built-in sliders (which can have animated captions/text).

    Best regards,

    Hi Josue,

The only slider I see that has animated text is what is called “Advanced Layer Slider” in the Media choices.

When I put a YouTube video in this slider, it does not loop, even though I have “loop” specified.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,

Just to be clear, I think we’re talking about the same thing. In the Media tab, it’s called Advanced Layer Slider, but where you access in WP in the sidebar, it’s called LayerSlider WP.

The problem I’m having is getting it to work with Vimeo or YouTube. For example, with Vimeo, it doesn’t autoplay, even though it’s set for that.

Here’s the code I’m using in the LayerSlider:
    <iframe src=”//player.vimeo.com/video/112710891?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&autoplay=1&loop=1″ width=”1350″ height=”760″ frameborder=”0″ webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Hey!

The demo is using the FULLSCREEN SLIDER element not the Advanced Layer Slider. If you want to enable the loop, edit the FULLSCREEN SLIDER then look for Loop Video Player. Make sure that you switch the slide type to Video Slide. If you want to use the layer slider, please try the suggestion here but we won’t be able to help you with the control and autoplay parameters: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layerslider-zoom-video-to-fill-banner-space/#post-327976

Hi. What I’m seeking to do is to have a full background video within Advanced Layerslider/LayerSlider WP. I know how to add a layer, but that won’t stretch to the full width of my viewing area. The Fullscreen Slider, and Color Section, won’t work for me because I need the same control as Advance Layer Slider provides. So, is it possible to have a video background instead of image on Advance Layer Slider?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi!

LS can be fullwidth, make sure you have this settings – http://screencast.com/t/EEzEKL4oPMnx

On mobile autoplay of videos is disabled on most devices. Is there a way around this by using the full width video slide feature or do we need to have a static image as an alternative for mobile devices? Thanks!

    Hi,

Video autoplay on mobile is disabled by mobile browsers due to limited data-usage.

    Best regards,
    Josue
