    Hello,

I’d like to know if there’s any way to display variations pictures on a single product page, a bit like that on the right side “existe aussi en”:

    http://www.zadig-et-voltaire.com/eu/fr/pull-femme-pull-dini-c-dark-jean.html

    many thanks,

    sophie

    Hello,

I don’t think that is possible without editing the core functions of woocommerce plugin. What you can do is to create attributes and add variations to your products. You can add unique images on each variations which will show up when a user select a certain variation.

    Hi Ismael,

Yes that’s the funcitonnality I’m already using, but thought a carousel would have been more friendly.

Nevermind, if you learn something new about that, let me know.

    Regards,

    Sophie

    Hi Sophie,

Just to chime in a bit. The example page you linked is actually just showing images that link to the other color option product pages. So if you wanted to do the same, you could insert thumbnails of the other products you have and link to those pages. Just adding in the title for “Color Variations” to make it appear as if it is automatic.

    Hi Devin,

I don’t get excatly the tip but it sounds like it’s what I want:

do you mean by adding featured pictures behind the main one but changing their name and including a link to the variation page?

so that they would appear above the 1st picture but would go straight to the other color?

    many thanks,

    sophie

    Hello.

I think Devin’s idea is to add a new product with the same name and description but with a different variation, if I am not mistaken. You would then insert images of the variations and link it manually to those product variation pages. That is a lot of work if you have a lot of products with different colors and stuff.

    Ismael

    Sorry, I come back.

Do you think it would be possible to get a products slide show with autorotation like the option we have in template builders?

This would be great and exactly what I need in a way

I will put that in as a feature request to Kriesi but it isn’t something we could walk you through adding as it would take a significant addition to the individual product page.

    Devin

Well, if you can put some small thumbails I think it should be allright.

Plus there’s definitely a need of showing thing to customers and not waiting for them to go and find out :) (most of clothing e-commerce websites do present this option)

    kind regards,

    Sophie

    Hi Sophie,

Have you considered integrating this functionality via a plugin? The beauty of WordPress is the tens of thousands of free and premium plugins available to give you the freedom to customize and differentiate your web presence as you see fit and give you that competitive advantage. I would look closely at what’s available since if most clothing e-commerce websites have that option, its likely to be found online.

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

Integrating it via a pluggin would be sweet, but regarding pluggin stability while updating woocommerce / wordpress / abundance I prefer not to put another potential of bugs. My wordpress level is kind of too modest.

But if you find any, I’ll be glad to try it on my test version site.

    Kind regards,

    Sophie
