Want Avia Advertising Widget to open in new window

Hi,

I notice that the Advertising widgets for Shoutbox have the links set to open in the same window (_self), but I would like them to open to a new window (_blank). I tracked down the file for the code I need to change: class_framework_widgets.php. But I'm not quite confident as to what to write to change the link output. Will you let me know what I need to write?

Hi,

If you mean the two banner widget, you would need to go to lines 729-730 in the file you mentioned which look like

echo '<a href="'.$ref_url.'" class="preloading_background  avia_partner1 link_list_item'.$kriesiaddwidget.' '.$firsttitle.'" >'.$image_url.'</a>';
		if($this->add_cont == 2) echo '<a href="'.$ref_url2.'" class="preloading_background avia_partner2 link_list_item'.$kriesiaddwidget.' '.$firsttitle.'" >'.$image_url2.'</a>';

and replace the two lines with the code below

echo '<a target="_blank" href="'.$ref_url.'" class="preloading_background  avia_partner1 link_list_item'.$kriesiaddwidget.' '.$firsttitle.'" >'.$image_url.'</a>';
		if($this->add_cont == 2) echo '<a target="_blank" href="'.$ref_url2.'" class="preloading_background avia_partner2 link_list_item'.$kriesiaddwidget.' '.$firsttitle.'" >'.$image_url2.'</a>';
