Want to remove featured image from full post content on home page in Newscast

Please can you help me remove the featured image form the full post content on the home page. It is showing up and we don't want it there. This is the site, it is still pre-release:

Featured image not showing in individual posts - good
Featured image showing in excerpt on category pages like http://kcnow.annies-publishing.com/?cat=15 good
Featured image showing in full post on home page - not what we want

The client is set on having full content posts rather than excerpts on the home page. If it was just excerpts we would be fine.

Hi agorton,

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Most of the posts require a login to view so if an example of which image is showing up incorrectly is in one of those posts we'll need a login to view it.

Oops! Thanks for pointing that out. I will remove login from the first 5 posts so others can see.

Yes - I added a login requirement and I did not explain that above. A little background... yes this site is about knitting but it is far from sleepy. They have a TV show and up to 40,000 visits a week from people downloading patterns. We force login before download.

2 other options for you to see my problem

1) At the bottom of the home page, you will see links to older posts. Click to page 3 and you will see posts without login, so you will see how it looks with the featured image showing every time

2) You are welcome to set up a profile on the site and login.

OK - I removed login requirements from the 5 posts on the home page. This is a knitting site (But extremely active, thousands of downloads every week). So most posts are going to be "Here's a picture of something we knit. And here's a pdf of the pattern for you to download"

Having that one main picture show up as a featured icon to the left of the post title on the home is NOT what the client wants.

We are happy with the formatting of the featured image everywhere else - single post, category and slider.

Hey Abigail,

In that case its very simple, add the following css to your style.css at the very bottom of the file:
```
#top.home .entry-previewimage.rounded {
display: none;
}
```
That will hide the featured image on the home page, and only the home page.

FANTASTIC!!!

It worked!

We have spent hours looking for this. I saw your similar responses about how to fix it for single posts but of course I needed it for the home page.
