    Hi,

    I removed/hid your website url. you can use http://www.goo.gl to hide it in future posts.

    Try adding this to your htaccess file as your host has pagespeed module available which should do a lot regarding speed. If you run into some problem, be prepared to use ftp to access the htaccess file.

    <IfModule pagespeed_module>
    ModPagespeed on
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters rewrite_css,sprite_images
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters combine_css
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters fallback_rewrite_css_urls
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters move_css_above_scripts
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters recompress_images
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters rewrite_images
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters rewrite_javascript
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters combine_javascript
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters extend_cache
    </IfModule>

    Here is the code to change the red color

    #top .main_color div {
    border-color: rgb(207, 0, 0); /*this is the red*/
    }

    Your pagination on main page is not working. have you changed Settings > Writing to not define any specific pages as home/blog?

    I see category shop page and brand shop page in the top menu under Shop. The links take me to pages without content. Have you looked at the dozens of WooCommerce add-ons? To see if one of them provides a shortcode to do that? Otherwise if you don’t plan on changing the brands or categories often, you can just write them out and link them to the specific pages and style them however you want.

    Thanks

    Nick

    Darn thing is messing with my brain :)

    The pagination was working last night…I swear there’s a lepricon on my hosting server that goes in and flops things up overnight…

    I did specify the home page because of the widget issues and because there were 2 different “home” pages, when clicking on the logo it would take you to one version and when clicking Home on the menu bar it was going to another home page because of the default permalinks I have setup.

    However, I have fixed the Home Page link in the menu bar to go to the same home page that the logo takes me to. And I unspecified the home page/blog in the settings and definitely won’t change that again :)

    So that is fixed, you can double check if you’d like just to confirm.

    I also, figured out how to create the Brand Listing Page and the Product Category listing page.

    I inserted a widget for the Product categories to display as a list in the sidebar, viewed the source code, copied the list of Product Categories from there and pasted them into the body of the page in text mode and viola…It worked!!

    Did the same process for the Product Brands and that worked as well!!! Yippee!!!

    So that is Solved/Fixed.

    I did a search for the string you posted above for the red outline around the partner logos and can’t find it in any of my css files. Maybe the lepricon will sort that out over night and I’ll wake up without the red borders around the logos lol

    Lastly, I added the code you instructed me to use for the pagespeed module. Not sure if it’s made a difference just yet but I’m sure I’ll notice very soon. :)

    P.s. thanks for taking my live site domains off the forum…I really appreciate it. I’ll use the short URLs going forward

    Hi,

    Please look at my previous post, and replace the htaccess i gave before with the new one above (i never used before so not sure what will happen, but if something bad, take out that lines to do with javascript.

    Since I am not exactly sure how pagespeed works, i would backup just in case. But it should significantly speed you up.

    Your logo looked better before, the image text is unreadable on my laptop almost. remove all those shadows and stroke from the mini text, or do it as a vector.

    That’s weird, your site changed. custom.css is empty now. and the css for the red outline is now

    #top .alternate_color div {
    border-color: rgb(207, 0, 0);
    }

    it is defined in replete.css but without the #top .. I add that myself to give the code more specificity

    Thanks,

    Nick

    I did add that to the htaccess file yesterday.

    Can you take a screenshot of the logo as it appears on your laptop so I can see it. It looks perfect on my laptops, desktop, iPad and iPhone.

    I had to remove the blue background from the top. Cosmetically it looked nice but it’s a competitive industry and my client likes the white background. I wonder why the logo looks crappy on your screen. This is how it looks from my iPad

    No go on that htaccess content above. Busted my site, had to take it out

    Hi,

    Ok, thats fine about htaccess. Please do this. Start with this. If it works and when you look at the source (view source) the css files indeed become combined, then you should start adding more one at a time, and whichever one crashes it, just don’t use that line. Because this is infinitely more powerful than total cache and probably anything else that is available so getting it to work is definitely in your best interest , especially with godaddy, that is specifically why google made sure they were one of the first hosts to get it.

    <IfModule pagespeed_module>
    ModPagespeed on
    ModPagespeedEnableFilters combine_css
    </IfModule>

    Logo looks different now. Before the font size was much smaller. http://www.clipular.com/c?2622499=evL_uGkV1UAGZLYhTsq_-8UY_LA

    I’m going to play around with htaccess info you posted. I enabled my WPML plugins and immediately had to deactivate them because my site turned into sludge
    Maybe I’ll do the translations on my dev site, then do a WP MIGRATE DB to the live site…will that work?

    Thank you again :)

    Hi,

    It will work if you use a plugin or are extra careful changing the url and the number of characters in the many instances the website url is ued in the serialized data. Its good if you can make the test domain have exactly the same number of characters as the live domain you plan on exporting to, that way all you will need to do is mass replace test domain for live domain without the need to change the number of characters. so if your live site is my-website.com try to make your local domain my-website.dev.

    I am going to close this then, but if you have other questions feel free to open another support request ticket. Good luck!

    Thanks,

    Nick
