I am trying to figure out why my website is so slow and what I can do improve the speed. I have tried disabling all but essential plugins and it did not help…

I am using both the Woocommerce and WPML plugins which I know both slow things down, but I am trying to figure out precisely what the problem is and what I can do to improve the speed which is unacceptable at this point…

So, other than optimizing images, using a CDN, etc., is there anything you can recommend that I can do to make my site faster? I am thinking that there is broken code that might causing the slow rendering…I tested my site on webpagetext and as you can below, the first view took 13.5 seconds and second view is 5.7 seconds…

    Website: acrosolutions.com
    Document Complete Fully Loaded
Load Time First Byte Start Render Speed Index DOM Elements Time Requests Bytes In Time Requests Bytes In
    First View 13.526s 4.275s 5.392s 9620 347 13.526s 82 4,975 KB 13.666s 83 4,976 KB
    Repeat View 5.749s 3.195s 4.094s 4915 346 5.749s 6 158 KB 6.132s 6 159 KB

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hi miketran!

You can try to install a cache plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/ or http://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/ – sometimes they can help to improve the speed. If not I recommend to contact the hoster. Maybe they can upgrade the host plan for you and provide better/faster hardware or tweak the server configuration somehow.

    Cheers!
    Peter
