    Here is a screenshot of a weird character looking like a “/” that is inside the 1800 number, and I cant get rid of it. There is a formatting problem I have with viewing this template on the iphone. I have tried editing the margins in the css to no resolve. Please help me figure out how to make it display just like it does in the browser. Thanks.

    Hey,

    I don’t have an iphone and I can’t replicate the error with Opera mobile. I think it’s not a character but a border around the phone number image. Maybe try to add :

    style="border: none !important;"

    to your image tag.

    Hi Dude,

    it doesnt work and make no positive effect.

    I tried some different options with the number.

    012345678 will be displayed in correct form,

    but if I put a space or | or () or a dash between the number like (0123)-45 67 89 the effect is the image above.

    Dont know where I can fix the problem!? :)

    Hey,

    have you tried using the HTML Number codes instead of just | ( )? I’m also unable to test for i-Devices .. I can’t think of anything else.

    Same problem on iPad; number also ‘hangs down’ off line like first poster’s pic

    seems to happen because iphone and ipad convert the elemt to a link (and links are set to display block, thats why the element is displayed in the next line with the link background image)

    fix that by adding the following to your custom.css stylesheet in your css folder:

    #top .social_bookmarks li.phone a, #top .social_bookmarks li.phone a:hover {
    height: auto;
    width: auto;
    text-decoration: underline;
    text-indent: 0;
    opacity: 1;
    display: inline;
    float: none;
    background: none;
    }
