I want to put an image into a text widget in the sidebar. I thought it was 250 x 250 px, but that’s not right.

The ads widget has spaces for 2 small, 125 x 125 px images. I figured 1 larger, 250 x 250 px image would look better and I put an image that size in there.

But when I put the same image into the body of a page, and display it at full size, 250 x 250 px, it displays much larger than the same image in the text widget in the sidebar.

I want to be accurate when I tell an advertiser what size their image will be displayed.

    Thank you.

    Hey Nathan!

Your current image on the sidebar is 250x250px but resized to 227x227px. It will automatically resize depending on the screen size.

Oh, ok, it resizes. So it’s not totally inaccurate to tell my advertisers that it’s 250×250 px?

Other than that… I’m kinda of confused about the “but resized to 227×227 px.” Will it never display as 250×250? Is the maximum displayed size 227×227? Should I tell my advertisers to give it to me in 250×250 px, but let them know that it shows up as 227×227?

    Thanks.

    Hi!

You can go to Enfold theme options > General Layout > Dimensions and change the width of your sidebar. Wider you make it, bigger it will display the content in sidebar.

    Cheers!
