    I’m trying to add some advertising to the sidebar – but a widgets is being cropped. I’m using the Adrotate plugin without a problem, but when I add a 160×600 Amazon block, it’s only showing about the top 100 pixels then chopping the rest off. Have a look here:

    That second widget area should be a 600 pixels deep ad.

    Thanks

    Hi Bob,

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    #text-4 .textwidget iframe {
    height: 600px !important;
    }

    I think this is related to a bug that is being fixed in the next update to the theme, but otherwise, what we’ve done above is just force the height of that specific widget iframe to the specified height.

    Thanks Devin, that’s fixed it for that occurrence. Excuse my ignorance of coding but what happens if I change the content, or I want another widget setup – for example a new advert on a different page? Also, is this an iframe-related problem or widget size related?

    Thanks

    Bob

    Hey Bob,

    What we did with the above code is target that specific widget ID (#text-4) and its iframe. i believe this issue is being fixed in the current/next update but if you change things around you may need to re-target the specific widget by its ID.

    Thanks Devin

    Working great – but if need to make changes how do I identify the widget number?

    Do you know when the update is due?

    Regards

    Hi Bob,

    You can identify the widget number by viewing your page’s source code. Simply right-click on the page (away from any background images that exist) and click on View Page Source or View Source. Use CTRL + Find to search for the widget’s text. Once you find it, look where the text starts and you should see something like this:

    <div id="text-4">

    Whatever number is after the hyphen is generally your ID number.

    As far as an update, I’m not sure of exact release date. Once Kriesi is done with an update ThemeForest does their own review so it may be anywhere from next week to several weeks. You can keep checking back here or follow Kriesi on Facebook or Twitter.

    Regards,

    Mya
