    Hi!
    I’m trying to put widget in the sidebar. I set up “One big sidebar” in the theme Option “Sidebar and Footer”, but when I put a widget in “Frontpage Sidebar left” it goes at the bottom of articles.
    What I’m doing wrong?
    I just want that Widget to be in all the website the same, so I don’t think I have to make a particular set, as explained in the documentation in the part “Sidebar and Footer”.

    Also, I can’t understand how to put a widget on the right footer, because when I insert a Widget in “Footer – right” it goes under the ones in the middle.

    I think I’m missing some passage.
    May you help me?
    Thank you very much!

    There’s no way…even if I set up “Two small sidebars” in theme option, the widget in the sidebar right goes under the one in the side bar left.
    The same for the footer.
    I’m really missing something.
    An help would be really appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi!

    Can we see your site live? It sounds like there is definitely something else causing a conflict or issue so seeing it live will be the quickest way to check and inspect the code.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hi!
    Sorry for my late answer, but I didn’t receive the email of your answer.
    The website now is offline. I use a plugin for a “coming soon” page and if you don’t login in the website you can’t see the live version on which I’m working on…

    You’ve created a different front-page.php template and didn’t include the get_sidebar which actually pulls in the sidebars.

    Hi Devin,
    I did that yesterday night but the problem of sidebar was already there before that.
    If you look at the footer, even there the right area is empty, and it’s empty because I can figured out why the widgets doesn’t appear over there, but they go under the one in the center.

    Moreover, I did the front page and it was my decision not to pull the sidebars: I expected the page to be full width. Instead there is always that white area on the right…

    Is it possible I messed up something with Css?

    thanks in advance

    The content has a fixed width so just removing the sidebar wouldn’t change its width. You would need to use:

    #top.home #content {
        width: auto;
    }
    #top.home #content .entry-content {
        width: auto;
        margin-right: 0;
    }

    The footer widgets are getting output fine but there is something causing the third one to wrap. You can shrink them by a few pixels to get them all to fit on the same line again with:

    #footerwrap .column {
        width: 283px;
    }

    Awesome, it works!
    Also, for the sidebars problem I used this:

    .sidebar{
    float:left;
    margin:0 20px 40px 0;
    padding:0 0 0px 19px;
    width:130px;
    overflow: hidden;
    }

    Thank you very much!

    If I may ask,
    there is also a problem with the Facebook icon.
    I configured it and it used to show up, but now it doesn’t anymore.

    I should open a new post for this problem?

    Many many thanks in advance, you guys give really a good help!
